U12 Turn it On

U12 Badgers made the trip to Melksham Town to play their Tornadoes team. Matches between thee teams last season were tough, but this game started with great purpoee and determination taking lead after 2 minusted when Sam G broke through the dfence to score. Two goals scored from corners headed in by birthday boy Freddie gave Badgers a commanding lead. Sam W fired in for a fourth goal following in at back post after a rights side attack.
Second half saw the team continue to kick on, Sam Gs pace and support from midfield players continued to create chances, a goal 5 minutes into second half extended the lead. Melksham then had a period of pressure and their perserverence was awarded when the converted a penalty given for a push in the penalty box.
Despite that set back, Badgers continued to push and Sam G completed his hat trick and completed a fantastic 6-1 first league victory for the team.
