U12 Badgers Calm the Tornadoes

Badgers played host to Melksham Tornadoes in latest league match. Having played them two weeks before, focus was on our discpline in shape and tactics and to discardthe previous result.
The team started well, moving the ball around to prod for opportunities, exploiting the teams pace to create some chances. One break led to a penalty, the first the team have had this season, but unfortunately Sam G in his shiny new boots could not test the keeper.
Undeterred from the miss, the team pushed on, continuing to create chances and by halt time, a double from Sam G had given the team a comfotable lead.
Second half continued in similar fashion with Badgers creating chances and closing down the opposition before they could create chances. Goals followed by Ross N-G (2) and Sam W before Sam G completed his hat-trick and a comprehensive win that keeps U12 top of the league through 4 matches.
Overall it was an excellent performance by the whole team, each doing their delegated job whcih nullified the opposition and led to chances being created right across yhe team.
Next up Larkhall Athletic are welcomed to Badgerland.
