U12 Badgers Continue Fine Form

U12 Badgers played host to Trowbridge Wanderers at West Lavington and started the game on front foot taking a 3-0 lead within the first 10 minutes with goals from Ross, Freddie and Sam G. Badgers continued to press and extended their lead to 5-0 by half time with further goals from Ross and Hayden.
Some formation changes in second half and some position changes for some players for some experience reduced some of the chances, but eventually the team adapted and created opportunites which led to some good goalkeping and defending by Trowbridge, but eventually 4 more goals followed with a hat trick from Charlie and another by Hadyn.
The game allowed debuts for Kenzie and Lando who put in good team performances. The team have depth and quality now to stand in good stead for rest of season and hopefully into expansion to 11 a side.
The result leaves the team in a strong position at the top of the league with 5 games remaining.
