Badgers Lose at Chippenham

On a windy Sunday afternoon, Badgers failed to repeat the high energy performance of previous week in a lacklustre match vs Chippenham.

Playing with the wind first half, Badgers dreated many chances and only converted one when Captain Alfie Timbrell shot past the keeper from the halfway line. Unfortunately Chippenham managed to create chances which yhey took to lead 3-1 at the break.

Second half playing against a strengthening wind, Worton continued to create chances and pulled another backnthrough Ethan Watts.

Both teams had chances to score again but failed to take resulting in loss for Worton.

A chance to get "revenge"was presented in the evening when we were drawn away to Chippenham in the second round of the league cup.
